After about 8 days and 21 hours of labor, the Vertical Stabilizer is complete. It’s unlikely that I’ll sustain this pace, just happened to be able to get a lot done over two weekends. It came out pretty good, but definitely some room for improvement. I didn’t like the primer so will switch brands going forward, When riveting some of the ribs to the skin, I held the bucking bar in the wrong place a couple times, creating some dents in a few spots. But there not so bad, but will get a second opinion by a Tech Counselor. Likely it’ll be filled and smoothed before the exterior paint job. Really enjoying the process but there’s definitely some frustrations and a lot of leanings along the way. The girls continue to help here and there with interest.
