Building the canopy and rear window spanned from the end of March 2023 through December 2023. It was a lot of work! So I’m splitting the pictures and video into two parts.
This also marked the arrival of the “Finish” kit that consists primarily of the canopy, cowl, landing gear, and fiberglass fairings.

Part 1 shows pictures of building the aluminum frame that will hold the canopy. I also fabricated the rear window assembly. This captures the efforts that began in March through mid-August. You’ll also see I installed a cool canopy handle that is much beefier and powder coated than the factory option.
This video primarily shows the installation of the rear window. It’ll be removed until final assembly steps just to avoid scratches or damages throughout the remaining build progress.
